Title: nature in the works
of georgian writers
Description: the teaching
projeqt is for students of grade it who learn about nature in the works of
georgian writers.For example: Vazha Pshavela, Alexsandre Kazbegi, Akaki
Tsereteli and others. The students realise the role of nature in the life of
man. The students will develop the skills of research, working in groups.
Age range: grade IX
Number of pupils: 24
How it is related to
national curriculum: The connection with national cutriculum:
Geo.IX.1. A student can
participate in class and school debates.
Geo.IX.2. When debating a
studen apply to the relevant tactic and stay within the bounds of ethical norms
of speech.
Geo.IX.3. When reporting in
front of the audience a student can use the ways to strengthen the effect of
verbal communication.
Geo.IX.11. A student can
write an essay for different goals and for different audience.
Geo.IX.12. A sudent can
create an artistic text according to the giving condition or model.
Methods used:observation,ranging,checking
the knowledge,discussing texts.
Aims: The aims of the
project:
1.During the process of learning and finding
out information the students will observe what nature is like in different
parts of georgig and they will notice what their peculiarity is. They will
analyze how georgian writes described this beuty in their works.
2. Thyey will develop the skill to use the
obtained knowledge in real life.
3. Processinhg the material by the means of
ist. Preparing an article writing a story or a sketch. The students will work
on a topic: ,,Vazha - an attorney of nature 1``
,,Preserve the wood for your
children,
You are a father, thats your
duty``
4. Noticing the difference and
comporicon of nature intheir own and other countries.
5. Developing co operational
skills, developing the skills for making decisions after forming their own
ideas clearly.
6. Developing the creative and presentation
skills of the students (different kinds of written works)
7. They will develop the love of the country.
Work process: The course of
the project (main activities):
Act.1. Presenting the idea
to the students by the teachen.
Act.2. Forming questlions
and problems related to the topic that are interesting and active for the
students.
Act.3. Organisational
matters.

Act.4. Starting to work
The class will be divided into four groups.
The first group will work on the topic: Vazha
and nature- (Pshavi), They will make a presentation in MS Power Point.
The second group will research the topic:
nature in the works of Alexsandre Kazbegi (Kazbegi), They will make a well newspaper.
The third group will work on the issue:
nature of Zemo Imereti - Akaku Tsereteli. They will present the materials in MS
Power Point.
The fourth group will find out the
information and nature in foreign countries, what its peculiarities are, what
the differences and simllarities are.
Act.5. Summing up the work
done, prezenting it to the audience.
